Pulsar Engineering was established in 2008 by Bongani Khumalo (Managing Director), and in 2014 it was re-registered as Pulsar Africa Systems (PTY) Ltd. Numerous possibilities and obstacles were encountered during the years of experience and engagement with different service providers in the electrical and instrumentation fields. These opportunities and challenges encompass everything from installation standards to skills level and fundamental electrical and instrumentation expertise. Recognizing the shortcomings of South Africa’s instrumentation industry is the only way to effectively and thoroughly address the afore-mentioned issues. These shortcomings were taken into consideration when Pulsar Africa Systems (PTY) Ltd was founded, along with the opportunities and challenges that are currently present. One of the most obvious deficiencies was the absence of BEE firms, particularly those employing individuals with in-depth instrumentation knowledge. With further research and employment opportunities led the company to expand into civil works, building, and structural construction. Pulsar Africa Construction was then founded in 2022. Our biggest and long-term clients were the mines which provided us with opportunities to fine tune our skills in the mining field as a result Pulsar Africa Mining was founded in 2023. The supply of high-quality craftsmanship, research and advice regarding the afore-mentioned opportunities and difficulties are identified as Pulsar Africa’s core competences. Pulsar Group was formed as an umbrella to Pulsar System, Pulsar Construction and Pulsar Mining. Pulsar keeps reaching and expanding to bigger and greater prospects, delivering results, reliability and dependability, with no project being too small or too big.
